Reverse

Engineering

Ensil supports customers with legacy, obsolete, discontinued, or undocumented electronic assemblies by recreating practical technical documentation and repair pathways where feasible.

Our reverse engineering services may include circuit analysis, schematic reconstruction, component identification, PCB layout review, redesign support, replacement-part analysis, and assistance with repair or remanufacturing.

Reverse engineering scope depends on the condition of the assembly, available documentation, customer requirements, legal rights, and practical test capability.

COMPONENT ANALYSIS &
REDESIGN

Repairing a part that is either obsolete, discontinued, or has no technical documentation through loss or other means can be difficult. Our team’s reverse engineering capabilities can recreate schematics and ATPs for your component, making repair or remanufacturing possible. Ensil’s in-house testing abilities ensure that reverse engineered parts function at or exceeding OEM standards.

INDUSTRIAL REVERSE ENGINEERING

Ensil’s reverse engineering team is here to help keep your legacy, out-of-date, discontinued and hard to find components at optimum performance. If a crucial part fails and its documentation is non-existent, lost, or has been destroyed, we can recreate it for you and repair your part. Maximize the life cycle of your valuable machinery with our reverse engineering services.

MILITARY REVERSE ENGINEERING

Our reverse engineering capabilities support ground-based, airborne and shipboard systems and subsystems for military and government initiatives. Mergers and acquisitions of defense OEMs in the past have contributed to the widespread loss of technical and engineering data. Ensil’s technical team can provide documentation and schematics to replace this lost data and support the life cycle of affected components.

Noise Detector Assembly

The noise detector assemble contains two receivers and threshold detection logic for indicating the presence of jamming conditions. The main channel receiver provides a wide dynamic range envelope detector switchable to any of the four radar input channels (SUM, delta AZ, delta EL, and Auxiliary) via built-in diode switches.

Ensil’s Military Electronics Repair and Aerospace Advantage:
